This powerful 3-day program introduces the patent attorney or portfolio manager to Latent Semantic Analysis (LSA) search technology, and covers all of the software features and functionality of Pantros IP's ProSearch™ software solution. Training includes the practical application of Patent CIA Competitive Intelligence Alerts and the Patent Factor Index (PFI) qualitative patent analysis and statistical index scoring system.

During practical computer lab training, students gain a solid, real world understanding of applying PFI Report scoring to a large patent portfolio, including identifying (a) highest value patents for licensing, (b) high risk patents within a portfolio (c) poor quality patents that should be pruned from the portfolio, and (d) advanced techniques of applying scores to support management decisions for R&D, M&A and patent strategy.
